This deciduous shade tree grows to a mature height of 20’ with a width of 35’. It grows quickly to maturity and forms a broad crown and can resemble a pruned hedge. The bark is smooth and gray. It produces yellow-white flowers in late spring and the leaves will turn a brilliant red in autumn.
Best Uses:
This is best in early successional forests and ornamental landscapes.
