Description
The Zelkova has a vase shape with upright arching branches. The Zelkova is in the Elm family and is a great substitute for the American Elm because it has no disease or pest problems of significance.
Description:
The Green Vase Zelkova will grown to be 45′ tall with a 30′ spread. It has green foliage that will turn orange in the fall. The vase shape of this tree does not provide great shape but with the upright branches it doesn’t interfere in parking lot or pedestrian situations. This tree is most commonly seen in commercial or municipalities.
The smooth grey bark and serrated leaves are other characteristics of this tree.
Best Uses:
Best used in a landscape that you need space under the tree. It is drought tolerant once established.
