The Royal Frost Birch is a hybrid of the Crimson Frost Birch and Whitespire Birch. It is notable for its burgundy foliage that last through the summer and the white bark that give a good contrast to the other colors in this tree. It is a tree for all seasons because it always has some color. In the fall the leaves will turn some shade of orange, red, or yellow.
This is a moderate growing tree that does well in well-drained soil with full sun. It is a great accent to a landscape because the white bark will show through and give color in the winter months.
