The Sawtooth oak is a very attractive shade tree. This tree gets its name from its leaves that are glossy and oblong with serrated edges.  The leaves are dark lustrous green in the summer and will turn a yellow then golden brown in the fall. The Sawtooth Oak produces acorns that will feed wildlife.
This is a pyramidal tree in its youth that will grow to be 40-50′ tall.
Best Uses:
This is a great shade tree for your landscape. The wildlife loves the acorns it produces.
